WTO regulations and international business

The World Trade Organisation (WTO) sets the framework by which governments make and implement policies to regulate global trade in goods and services. The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) covers international trade in goods and the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) covers all aspects of trade in services. This article discusses the acronyms and what they mean for international business.
